Primulina Yuyang’s Xinghuayu

Primulina ‘Yuyang’s Xinghuayu’, 2023, IR231900, hybridized by Yuyang Lei, Haixia Yan, Zhenglin Wang, Jinye Zhou; Guangxi Academy of Agricultural Sciences; Nanning, China. ((P. papillosa x P. jiangyongensis) x P.lutea). Cross made 07.15.2022, seeds planted 08.04.2022, first flowering 08.19.2023. Sterile, reproducible only vegetatively. Basal rosette, acaulescent. Leaves green, 7.9-10.4 cm long, 2.8-3.4 cm wide, 1.8-2.5 cm petiole, ovate with rounded tip, cuneate base, entire margin, hairy. Calyx split, light green, 9-11 mm. Length of the pedicel 2.9-3.5 cm, 2-4 flowers per axil. Corolla salverform, 4.4-4.6 cm long, 1.8-1.9 cm wide, light yellow. Shade enduring, can tolerate heat. The soil is required to be loose and breathable.
