xPrimucodon ‘Yueyang Tower’, 2021, IR211639, hybridized by Fang Wen, Yi-Gang Wei; Long-Fei Fu; Guangxi Institute of Botany, CAS; Guilin, China. (Primulina sinovietnamica  x  Petrocodon integrifolius). Cross made 05.25.2017, seeds planted 09.10.2017, first flowering 04.27.2019. Sterile, reproducible only vegetatively. Basal rosette, acaulescent. Leaves dark green, thick chartaceous, slightly fleshy, short pubescent both surfaces, distinctive veins, 5-6.5 cm long, 3-5 cm wide, 4-6 cm petiole, ovate with cuneate base, acute tip, nearly entire margin, hairy. Calyx split, whitish green to pale green, 3.5-5 mm. Length of the pedicel 0.8-1.0 cm, 12 or more flowers per axil. Corolla salverform, ca. 1.5 cm long, ca. 1 cm wide, pale purple with one dark purple stripe in every lobe. Prefers brightly scattered natural or artificial lighting; moist but well-drained & calcium-rich substrate (equal to PH ≥7.0); do not over-fertilize and overwater.
