Primulina uan’s Party Dress

Primulina ‘Xuan’s Party Dress’, 2018, IR181408, hybridized by Shu Li, Yi-Gang Wei, Fang Wen; Guangxi, China. (P. liboensis x P. rongangensis). Cross made 01.11.2015, seeds planted 06.14.2015, first flowered 05.17.2017. Sterile. Reproducible only vegetatively. Basal rosette. Leaves green with silvery veins, 8-15 cm long, 8-10 cm wide with 1-3 cm petiole, ovate with cuneate base, undulate margin and acute tip, hairy. Calyx spit, green and white, 0.6-1 cm long. Pedicel 0.6-1 cm long with 4 flowers per axil. Corolla salverform, 5-7 cm long x 1.7-2 cm wide, pale purple. This variety is shade-tolerant, does its best in a bright scattered light, prefers moist well drained substrate, can’t take temperature below freezing.
