xHeppimenes ‘Tezli’. 1979, IR79167, Frances Batcheller, NH. (Heppiella viscida x Achimenes dulcis). Cross made 1975, first flowered 1976. Small trailing plant with ternate, ovate leaves, dark green above, paler below, 3 cm wide x 5 cm long. Umbellate inflorescence. Corolla tube 2.5 cm long, rounded lobes 2.5 cm in diameter are deep purplish red (Nickerson 5RP 3/9), throat white, unmarked, Stigma red tipped. Rhizomatous.
