Achimenes SRG’s Winehouse

Achimenes ‘SRG’s Winehouse’ 2022, IR221792, hybridized by Serge Saliba, Bucharest, Romania. (A. seedling 2008 x A. ‘Red Elfe’). Cross made 05.2009, seeds planted 01.2010, first flowering 07.2010. Sterile, reproducible only vegetatively. Trailing habit, stem length 20-25 cm. Leaves dark green, 4 cm long, 3 cm wide, 2 cm petiole, ovate, acute tip, cuneate base, serrate margin. Calyx split, green, length 4 mm, length of the pedicel 1.5 cm, 4 flowers per axil. Corolla salverform, double, 3 cm long, 4 cm wide, red wine with embossed petals.
