Achimenes SRG’s Vanity

Achimenes ‘SRG’s Vanity’, 2022, IR221773, hybridized by Serge Saliba, Bucharest, Romania. (A. seedling HS-34-2008 x A. HS-004-2008). Cross made 05.2009, seeds planted 01.2010, first flowering 07.2010. Sterile, reproducible only vegetatively. Erect to trailing habit, stem length 15 cm. Leaves green, 4 cm long, 3 cm wide, 2 cm petiole, ovate, acute tip, cuneate base, serrate margin. Calyx split, green, length 4 mm, length of the pedicel 1.5 cm, 2 flowers per axil. Corolla salverform, 3 cm long, 4.5 cm wide, double red. Strong bloomer.
