Achimenes SRG’s Summer Clouds

Achimenes ‘SRG’s Summer Clouds’ 2022, IR221803, hybridized by Serge Saliba, Bucharest, Romania. (A. HS-11-2008 x A. HS-01-2009). Cross made 04.2010, seeds planted 02.2011, first flowering 08.2011. Sterile, reproducible only vegetatively. Erect to trailing habit, stem length 17 cm. Leaves green, 4 cm long, 3 cm wide, 2 cm petiole, ovate, acute tip, cuneate base, serrate margin. Calyx split, green, length 4 mm, length of the pedicel 1.5 cm, 4 flowers per axil. Corolla salverform, double, 3 cm long, 4.5 cm wide, lavender and white. Heavily blooming cultivar with wonderful displays especially in hanging baskets.
