Achimenes SRG’s Carpathia

Achimenes ‘SRG’s Carpathia’, 2022, IR221769, hybridized by Serge Saliba, Bucharest, Romania. (A. seedling HS 21-2010 x A. ‘SRG’s Big Weiss’). Cross made 05.2011, seeds planted 01.2012, first flowering 06.2012. Sterile, reproducible only vegetatively. Erect habit, stem length 14 cm. Leaves green, 4 cm long, 3 cm wide, 2 cm petiole, ovate, acute tip, cuneate base, serrate margin. Calyx split, green, length 4 mm, length of the pedicel 2 cm, 2-3 flowers per axil. Corolla salverform, 3 cm long, 6 cm wide, double white with hint of pink in the center. Strong bloomer.
