Achimenes SRG’s Abendrot

Achimenes ‘SRG’s Abendrot’, 2022, IR221783, hybridized by Serge Saliba, Bucharest, Romania. (A. hybrid seedling 2009 x  A. HS-033-2009). Cross made 04.2010, seeds planted 01.2011, first flowering 07.2011. Sterile, reproducible only vegetatively. Trailing habit, stem length 20-25 cm. Leaves green, 4 cm long, 4 cm wide, 2 cm petiole, ovate, acute tip, cuneate base, serrate margin. Calyx split, green, length 4 mm, length of the pedicel 2 cm, 3 flowers per axil. Corolla salverform, double, 3 cm long, 7cm wide, purple, peach, orange and yellow mixed. Extremely floriferous and suitable to any growing conditions, attractive cascading plant.
