Kohleria Shr’s Seher Yeli

Kohleria ‘Shr’s Seher Yeli’, 2017, IR171370, hybridized by Seher Bilen, Turkey.(K. ‘Carnival’ x K. eriantha). Cross made 06.15.2015, planted 12.20.2016, and first flowered 08.03.2017.  Fertile, reproducible only vegetatively. Erect to semi-trailing habit, stem length 30cm. Leaves green with darker veins, red hair on the edge and reverse of the leaf, 7.5cm long, 5.6cm wide, with 2cm petiole, elliptic with cuneate base, serrate margin and acute tip. Calyx split, dark green with red hair, 1cm long. Pedicel 7cm with 1 flower per axil. Corolla tubular 4 cm long, 2.8cm wide, intense bright red with darker spots, white deep in a throat.
