Sinningia Peridots Red Hot

Sinningia ‘Peridots Red Hot’, 2023, IR231873, registered by Iain James, Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. (S. ‘Peridots Bubbling Butter’ x S. ‘Peridots Patchwork Quilt’). Cross made 05.2019, seeds planted 11.2019, first flowering 06.2020. Fertile, reproducible only vegetatively. Basal rosette, stem length 10 cm. Leaves light yellow green (RHS2C) with veins in green (RHS146C), 7.5 cm long, 6 cm wide, 7.5 cm petiole, ovate with rounded tip, serrate margin, bullate. Calyx split, yellow green (RHS2C), 12.5 mm. Length of the pedicel 7.5 cm. 2 flowers per axil. Corolla salverform, 7.5 cm long x 2.5 cm wide, red (RHS47A) with red striping (RHS45A).
