Sinningia Peridots Odin’s Cloak

Sinningia ‘Peridots Odin’s Cloak’, 2023, IR231898, hybridized by Iain James, Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. (S. 19-C75-5 x S. ‘Peridots Pink Pipettes’). Cross made 11.2020, seeds planted 05.2021, first flowering 12.2021. Fertile, reproducible only vegetatively. Basal rosette, stem length 12.5 cm. Leaves dark green (RHS 136A), 12 cm long, 12 cm wide, 7 cm petiole, orbicular with rounded tip, cordate base, entire margin, smooth. Calyx split, brown green (RHS 152B), 15 mm. Length of the pedicel 8 cm, 4-6 flowers per axil. Corolla salverform, 4 cm long, 2 cm wide, purple (RHS 67A) shading into dark pink violet (RHS 77A) suffused with dark pink violet (RHS N81B). Cultivar exhibits unique flower color combinations.
