Kohleria Peridots Kitlope

Kohleria ‘Peridots Kitlope’, 2023, IR231879, registered by Iain James, Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. (K. ‘Tane’ x K. ‘Dark Velvet’). Cross made 11.2000, seeds planted 05.2001, first flowering 10.2001. Male fertile, reproducible only vegetatively. Compact erect habit, stem length 20 cm. Leaves dark green (RHS136A), 10 cm long, 5 cm wide, 7.5 cm petiole, elliptic with acute tip, cordate base, serrate margin, hairy. Calyx split, yellow green (RHS145C) 12.5 mm. Length of the pedicel 7.5 cm. 2-5 flowers per axil. Corolla salverform, 5 cm long x 2 cm wide, red (RHS41A) shading into red pink (RHS51D) with red pink dots (RHS52B).
