Smithiantha Pat’s Pet Mandrill

Smithiantha ‘Pat’s Pet Mandrill’. 2006, IR06952, Gary Dunlap, MO. [S. (multiflora x ‘Abbey’ )x S. multiflora]. Cross made Nov. 22, 1999, planted Feb. 8, 2000 and first flowered Aug. 15, 2000. Reproducible only vegetatively. Erect, 25 cm tall. Leaves light green, hairy,12 cm long x 10 cm wide with 7 cm petiole, orbicular with serrate margin, acute tip and cordate base. Calyx green, split, 6 mm long. 4 cm pedicel. Corolla salverform, 4.5 cm long x 2.5 cm wide, pink tube, white lobes with heavy pink dots, yellow throat with pink dots. Available from Pat’s Pets.
