Smithiantha Pat’s Pet Ferret

Smithiantha ‘Pat’s Pet Ferret’. 2006, IR06943, Gary Dunlap, MO. (S. ‘ Curacao’ x S. ‘Prelude’). Cross made Dec. 5, 2000, planted Mar. 28, 2001 and first flowered Sept. 15, 2001. Reproducible only vegetatively. Erect to 25 cm tall. Leaves mottled olive green and light green, bullate, hairy, 13 cm long x 11 cm wide, 5 cm petiole, orbicular with serrate margins, acute tip and cordate base. Calyx split, green, 6 mm long. Pedicel 4 cm. Corolla salverform, 4.5 cm long x 2.5 cm wide, peach tube with yellow throat and lower lobes dotted with lines of peach. Available from Pat’s Pets.
