Sinningia Marge

Sinningia ‘Marge’, 2017, IR171373, hybridized by by Andy Kuang, Australia. (S. ‘Orion’ x S. araneosa). Cross made 02/14/2011, planted 03/20/2011, and first flowered 02/12/2012.  Reproducible only vegetatively. Basal rosette, approximate size 50mm tall x 130mm wide, stem length 15mm. Leaves green, 65mm long, 55mm wide, with 15mm petiole, ovate with cuneate base, serrate margin and acute tip. Calyx split, green,10mm long. Pedicel 25mm long with 2-4 flowers per axil. Corolla salverform, 35mm long x 20mm wide, bright cherry red with a few darker red spots and stripes in the throat.
