Kohleria ‘HS’s Arwen’, 2020, IR221733, registered by Ahmet Hilmi Sekitmen, Afyonkarahisar, Turkey. (K. ‘HCY’s Astrologer’ x K. ‘HCY’s Witch’). Cross made 04.05.2019, seeds planted 01.05.2021, first flowering 06.01.2021. Fertile, reproducible only vegetatively. Upright habit. Leaves green, 12 cm long, 7 cm wide, 1.8 cm petiole, elliptic, with acute tip, crenate margin. Calyx split, green 20 mm. Length of the pedicel 3 cm, 3 or more flowers per axil. Corolla salverform, 4.0 cm long x 3.0 cm wide, dark burgundy spots merge together producing a solid color, tube is hot pink. Plant on a tall side, easy to grow variety, blossoms are dark burgundy, sometimes almost black with abundant pollen.
