Primulina Green City Lady

Primulina ‘Green City Lady’, 2023, IR231892, hybridized by Shikai Guan, Haixia Yan, Dayan Tao, Jinye Zhou; Guangxi Academy of Agricultural Sciences; Nanning, China. (P. liboensis   x  P. longii. Cross made 03.23.2018, seeds planted 05.02.2018, first flowering 03.19.2020. Sterile, reproducible only vegetatively. Basal rosette, acaulescent. Leaves green, 11.8-15.6 cm long, 6.1-9.6 cm wide, 6.0-11.3 cm petiole, elliptic to ovate with acute tip, cuneate base, serrate to  undulate margin, hairy. Calyx split, green, 10-12 mm. Length of the pedicel 1.3-4.2 cm, 6-34 flowers per axil. Corolla salverform, 5.5-6.4 cm long, 1.4-1.7 cm wide, purple. Its flower count is abundant, it has high peduncles, 2 bracts and 3 branches. The plants require damp environment, have strict requirement of high moisture and high oxygen level in the growing medium, do not tolerate strong sunlight.
