Primulina Graceful Dance

Primulina ‘Graceful Dance’, 2020, IR201517, registered by Haixia Yan, Qian Song, Shikai Guan, Shuming Luo, Flower Research Institute of Guangxi Academy of Agricultural Sciences, Nanning, China. (P. sclerophylla  x  P. minutimaculata). Cross made 04.25.2018, seeds planted 05.30.2018, first flowering 05.01.2020. Sterile, reproducible only vegetatively. Basal rosette. Leaves dark green with light veins, 8.1-9.0 cm long, 6.2-7.5 cm wide, 1.0-1.9 cm petiole, ovate, with cuneate base, acute tip, serrate margin, hairy. Calyx split, light brown 0.9-1.3 cm. Length of the pedicel 1.6-2.1 cm, 8-9 flowers per axil. Corolla salverform, 4.9-5.5 cm long x 1.1-1.2 cm wide, purplish. This variety is tolerant to dry, high temperatures, shady conditions and direct strong sunlight. It requires a loose soil.
