Achimenes Giselle

Achimenes ‘Giselle’, 2022, IR221755, hybridized by Serge Saliba, Bucharest, Romania. (A. hybrid x A. hybrid). Cross made 04.2011, seeds planted 02.2012, first flowering 07.2012. Sterile, reproducible only vegetatively. Trailing habit, stem length 25 cm. Leaves medium green, 6 cm long, 5 cm wide, 2 cm petiole, ovate, acute tip, cuneate base, serrate margin. Calyx split, dark green, length 5 mm, length of the pedicel 2 cm, 3 flowers per axil. Corolla salverform, double, 3 cm long, 7 cm wide, salmon turning to yellow, orange and peach depending on growing conditions.
