Primulina GCCC’s Yaozu Muscular Guy

Primulina ‘GCCC’s Yaozu Muscular Guy’, 2021, IR211687, hybridized by Fang Wen, Yi-Gang Wei; Guangxi Institute of Botany; Guilin, China. (P. ophiopogoides x P. linearifolia). Cross made 04.10.2018, seeds planted 09.20.2018, first flowering 02.16.2020. Sterile, reproducible only vegetatively. Basal rosette, stem 5-10 cm. Leaves green with purple shading, 6-9 cm long, 0.8-1.0 cm wide, subsessile, linear with cuneate base, acute tip, entire margin, smooth. Calyx split, pale green, ca. 2 mm. Length of the pedicel 2-3 cm, 3-6, rarely 1 or more flowers per axil. Corolla salverform, ca. 3.0 cm long, ca. 2.2 cm wide, pinkish purple. Medium plant size. Prefers bright scattered natural light but can stand strong light; moist but well-drained & calcium-rich substrate (equal to PH ≥7.0); don’t overfertilize and overwater.
