Primulina  ‘GCCC’s Sulfur Mine’, 2020, IR201489, hybridized by Fang Wen, Yi-Gang Wei, Shu Li, Guilin, China. (P. liujiangensis    P. lutea). Cross made 04.22.2016, seeds planted 06.14.2016, first flowered 04.30.2018. Sterile. Reproducible only vegetatively. Basal rosette. Leaves thick, fleshy, green to slightly brownish green, adaxial surface in purplish red, pubescent hair on both surfaces, 6-8 cm long, 4-5 cm wide, 5-8.5 cm long petiole, ovate with cuneate to oblique base, entire to occasionally slightly undulate margin and acute tip, hairy. Calyx spit, yellowish green, ca. 1.5 cm long. Pedicel ca.2.3 cm long with ca. 8 or more flowers per axil. Corolla salverform, ca. 5 cm long ca. 2.5 cm wide, yellow with pale purple tint on the lobes and bright yellow nectar guides, many dark purple stripes on the corolla and corolla tube. Prefers bright scattered natural light, moist but well drained calcium rich substrate (pH equal or above 7), do not overfertilize.
