Primulina ‘GCCC’s Cui Yu Pan’, 2023, IR231960, hybridized Wen Fang, Chou Wei-Chuen, Wei Yi-Gang, Tan Ke; Guangxi Institute of Botany; CAS; GCCC, Guilin City, China. (P. papillosa x P. yangshuoensis). Cross made 08.27.2020, seeds planted 12.15.2020, first flowering 10.12.2022. Sterile, reproducible only vegetatively. Basal rosette, acaulescent. Leaves dark green with the leaf surface covered in upright long soft hairs and wart-like protrusions, 8-10 cm long, 5-6.8 cm wide, 1-2 cm petiole, linear with acute tip, cuneate base, entire margin, bullate, hairy. Calyx split, pale green, length 5-8 mm. Length of the pedicel 3-4 cm, 6 or more flowers per axil. Corolla salverform, 4.0-4.5 cm long, 2.5-3.2 cm wide, purple with a very light purple to white corolla tube and two yellow stripes in the throat. This hybrid prefers brightly scattered lighting; moist but well-drained & calcium-rich substrate (equal to pH ≥7.0); don’t over-fertilize and overwater.
