Primulina ‘GCCC’s Chun Shui’, 2023, IR231959, hybridized by Wen Fang, Chou Wei-Chuen, Wei Yi-Gang, Tan Ke; Guangxi Institute of Botany; CAS; GCCC, Guilin City, China. (P. papillosa x P. bullata). Cross made 08.27.2020, seeds planted 12.15.2020, first flowering 10.07.2022. Sterile, reproducible only vegetatively. Basal rosette, acaulescent. Leaves green, main vein and part of lateral veins are white, 5-9 cm long, 4.5-6 cm wide, 2-3 cm petiole, elliptic with acute tip, cuneate base, entire margin, bullate. Calyx split, pale green, length 5-8 mm. Length of the pedicel 3-4 cm, 12 or more flowers per axil. Corolla salverform, 3.5-4.5 cm long, 2.5-3.6 cm light purple with bright yellow stripes in the throat. This hybrid prefers brightly scattered lighting; moist but well-drained & calcium-rich substrate (equal to pH ≥7.0); don’t over-fertilize and overwater.
