Primulina ‘GCCC’s Chu Gu Huang Ying’, 2023, IR231921, hybridized by Wen Fang, Chou Wei-Chuen, Wei Yi-Gang; Guangxi Institute of Botany; CAS; GCCC, Guilin City, China. ((P. qintangensis  x  P macrorhiza)  P. lutea). Cross made 04.14.2021, seeds planted 09.15.2021, first flowering 05.24.2023. Sterile, reproducible only vegetatively. Basal rosette, acaulescent. Leaves dark green to green with white veins, 8-11 cm long, 4.8-8 cm wide, 1-2 cm petiole, elliptic to ovate with acute tip, cuneate base, entire margin, hairy. Calyx split, green, length 5-8 mm. Length of the pedicel 1.5-2.5 cm, 6 or more flowers per axil. Corolla salverform, ca. 3 cm long, ca. 2.7 cm wide, bright yellow with a dark orange throat. This hybrid prefers brightly scattered lighting; moist but well-drained & calcium-rich substrate (equal to pH ≥7.0); don’t over-fertilize and overwater.
