Primulina ‘GCCC’s Chong Zi’, 2023, IR231931, hybridized by Fu Long-Fei, Wei Yi-Gang, Wen Fang, Chou Wei-Chuen; Guangxi Institute of Botany; CAS; GCCC, Guilin City, China. (P. ‘GCCC’s Jade Tablet’  P. heterochroa). Cross made 09.15.2020, seeds planted 12.20.2020, first flowering 10.17.2022. Sterile, reproducible only vegetatively. Basal rosette, acaulescent. Leaves green with white veins, 8.5-10 cm long, 4.5-5.5 cm wide, 2-2.5 cm petiole, elliptic with acute tip, cuneate base, entire margin, hairy. Calyx split, yellowish green, length 5-8 mm. Length of the pedicel 2-2.5 cm, 12 or more flowers per axil. Corolla salverform, 4-5 cm long, 2.5-3 cm wide, purple with purple stripes. This hybrid prefers brightly scattered lighting; moist but well-drained & calcium-rich substrate (equal to pH ≥7.0); don’t over-fertilize and overwater.
