Primulina CW’s Gold Swallow Dream

Primulina ‘CW’s Gold Swallow Dream’, 2023, IR231849, hybridized by Wei-Chuen Chou, Long-Fei Fu, Fang Wen; Guangxi Institute of Botany & Gesneriads Conservation Center of China; Guilin, China. (P. petrocosmeoides x P.yandongensis). Cross made 08.14.2019, seeds planted 12.23.2019, first flowering 07.30.2021. Sterile, reproducible only vegetatively. Basal rosette, acaulescent. Leaves green, ca. 7.5 cm long, 3.5-4.5 cm wide, 2-3.5 cm petiole, thick, fleshy, pubescent both surfaces, ovate with rounded tip, cuneate base, entire margin, hairy. Calyx split, green, ca. 5 mm. Length of the pedicel ca. 2.3 cm, 1-2 sometimes more flowers per axil. Corolla salverform, ca. 3.5 cm long, ca. 1.8-2.3 cm wide, mixed color with orange, purple, yellow and purplish brown. Prefers brightly scattered natural light; moist but well-drained & calcium-rich substrate (equal to PH ≥7.0); do not overfertilize and overwater.
