Primulina CW’s Gamboge Dream

Primulina ‘CW’s Gamboge Dream’, 2023, IR231855, hybridized by Wei-Chuen Chou, Zi-Bing Xin, Fang Wen; Guangxi Institute of Botany & Gesneriads Conservation Center of China; Guilin, China. (P. yungfuensis x P. lutea). Cross made 06.29.2019, seeds planted 12.23.2019, first flowering 07.17.2021. Sterile, reproducible only vegetatively. Basal rosette, acaulescent. Leaves green, ca. 8 cm long, ca. 5.5 cm wide, 2-5 cm petiole, with obvious veins, occasionally traced with white, thick, fleshy, pubescent both surfaces, ovate with acute tip, cuneate base, entire margin, smooth. Calyx split, light green to brownish green, ca. 8 mm. Length of the pedicel ca. 2 cm, 2 or more flowers per axil. Corolla salverform, ca. 4 cm long, ca. 2.3 cm wide, light yellow with two dark yellow honey guides. Prefers brightly scattered natural light; moist but well-drained & calcium-rich substrate (equal to PH ≥7.0); do not overfertilize and overwater.
