Primulina Charley

Primulina ‘Charley’, 2022, IR221814, hybridized by Barb Borleske, Wilmington, DE. (P. dryas angustifolia x P. linearicalyx). Cross made 11.07.2020, seeds planted 01.06.2021, first flowering 08.2021. Reproducible only vegetatively. Basal rosette. Leaves shiny dark green with short inconspicuous hair, 3-5 cm long, 2 cm wide, sessile, lanceolate, acute tip, crenate margin, bullate, hairy. Calyx split, brown, 10 mm. Length of the pedicel 6 cm, 2-6 flowers per axil. Corolla salverform, 4 cm long, 2 cm wide, light purple with darker stripes. Profuse bloomer with the flower season in the mid to late summer.
