Streptocarpus Blue Network

Streptocarpus ’Blue Network’, 2005, IR05897, D. Thompson, IA. (‘  The King’ x ‘  Muse’). Cross made May 2002, planted Dec. 2002 and first flowered Apr. 2003. Fertile but reproducible only vegetatively. Medium sized rosette. Leaves medium green, bullate, 11 in. long x 2 ½ in. wide, linear with crenate margin, cuneate base and acute tip. Calyx green, ¼ in. long. 6 flowers per 6 ½ in. peduncle. Corolla salverform, 1 ½ in. long x 2 in. wide, light blue, heavily netted with dark blue except lower halves of the upper two lobes. Available from hybridizer at shows only.
