Primulina Avery’s HK Liberty

Primulina ‘Avery’s HK Liberty’, 2014, IR141270, Avery Chan, Hong Kong (P. sinensis x P. yangchunensis). Cross made Aug 5, 2013, planted Sep 14, 2013, and first flowered Sep 28, 2014.  Reproducible only vegetatively. Rosette.  Leaves green, 10 cm long x 5 cm wide with 1 cm petiole, elliptic with entire margin, cuneate base and acute tip. Calyx split, green, 0.5 cm long. Pedicel 2 cm with 4 flowers. Corolla infundibuliform, 3 cm long x 2 cm wide, purple.
