Primulina Avery’s Glistening Lavender

Primulina ‘Avery’s Glistening Lavender’, 2014, IR141268, Avery Chan, Hong Kong (P. guilinensis x P. longil). Cross made May 15, 2013, planted Jun 1, 2013, and first flowered Jul. 1, 2014.  Reproducible only vegetatively. Rosette.  Leaves dark green, 9 cm long x 4.5 cm wide with 1 cm petiole, elliptic with crenate margin, cuneate base and acute tip. Calyx split, green, 0.5 cm long. Pedicel 1.5 cm with 1 flower. Corolla infundibuliform, 3.5 cm long x 4 cm wide, purple.
