Primulina ‘GCCC’s Shu Jin’, 2023, IR231939, hybridized by Wen Fang, Wei Yi-Gang, Chou Wei-Chuen, Xin Zi-Bing; Guangxi Institute of Botany, CAS & GCCC; Guilin City, Guangxi, China. (P. cardaminifolia x P. liujiangensis). Cross made 04.20.2020, seeds planted 07.18.2020, first flowering 05.29.2022. Sterile. Basal rosette, acaulescent. Leaves green, with obvious veins, thick, fleshy, pubescent on both surfaces, 2-3 cm long, 1.5-2.5 cm wide, 0.7-1.5 cm petiole, ovate with an acute tip, cuneate base, entire to crenate margin, hairy. Calyx split, green, 2-4 mm long. Length of pedicel 10-15 mm, 10 or more flowers per axil. Corolla salverform, 1.5-2.5 cm long, 1.2-2 cm wide, pale purple. This hybrid prefers bright scattered light, moist, well-drained, calcium-rich soil with limited fertilization.
