×Primucodon GCCC’s Ren Mian Tao Hua

xPrimucodon ‘GCCC’s Ren Mian Tao Hua’, 2023, IR231927, hybridized by Wen Fang, Chou Wei-Chuen, Wei Yi-Gang; Guangxi Institute of Botany; CAS; GCCC, Guilin City, China. (Primulina papillosa  x  Petrocodon asterostriatus). Cross made 09.15.2020, seeds planted 12.15.2020, first flowering 08.24.2022. Sterile, reproducible only vegetatively. Basal rosette, acaulescent. Leaves green, ca. 6 cm long, ca. 4.5 cm wide, 3-6 cm petiole, ovate with rounded tip, cuneate base, entire margin, hairy. Calyx split, green, length 4-5 mm. Length of the pedicel 4-5 cm, 3 or more flowers per axil. Corolla salverform, ca. 4 cm long, ca. 3 cm wide, peach red to purplish-red flowers with white markings inside. This hybrid prefers brightly scattered lighting; moist but well-drained & calcium-rich substrate (equal to pH ≥7.0); don’t over-fertilize and overwater.
