xPrimucodon ‘GCCC’s Huang He Lou’, 2023, IR231923, hybridized by Chou Wei-Chuen, Wen Fang, Wei Yi-Gang; Guangxi Institute of Botany; CAS; GCCC, Guilin City, China. (Petrocodon longitubus  x  Primulina hochiensis var. ochroleuca). Cross made 05.17.2016, seeds planted 09.15.2016, first flowering 06.10.2018. Sterile, reproducible only vegetatively. Basal rosette, acaulescent. Leaves green with white main vein, ca. 3.5 cm long, ca. 3 cm wide, 1-2 cm petiole, ovate with rounded tip, cuneate base, entire margin, hairy. Calyx split, brownish green, length 4-5 mm. Length of the pedicel 4-5 cm, 3 or more flowers per axil. Corolla salverform, ca. 3.5 cm long, ca. 1.5 cm wide, light yellow with a faint purple blush. This hybrid prefers brightly scattered lighting; moist but well-drained & calcium-rich substrate (equal to pH ≥7.0); don’t over-fertilize and overwater
