Primulina Love in Green Season

Primulina ‘Love in Green Season’, 2023, IR231917, hybridized by Jiajun Huang, Huimin Deng, Guiyun Jiang, Wenjie Yang, Yi Yao, Suchan Liao, Yixun Yu, Juanxu Liu; South China Agricultural University, Guangzhou, China. (P. longgangensis  x  P. tabacum). Cross made 05.06.2021, seeds planted 07.11.2021, first flowering 09.15.2023. Reproducible only vegetatively. Basal rosette, acaulescent. Leaves green, 11-13.5 cm long, 5.5-6.5 cm wide, 5-6 cm petiole, elliptic with acute tip, cuneate base, serrate margin, hairy. Calyx split, green, 12-13 mm. Length of the pedicel 2.0-3.0 cm, 7-9 flowers per axil. Corolla salverform, 3.5-4 cm long, 2.8-3.1 cm wide, light purple. This hybrid has a short downy leaf surface with a delicate feel and a special apple fragrance when lightly touched. This hybrid is suitable for growing in a warm and humid environment, the most suitable growing temperature is 24-32℃.
