Primulina Latin Dance

Primulina ‘Latin Dance’, 2023, IR231916, hybridized by Yixun Yu, Jiajun Huang, Yazhi Liu, Meishi Xie, Huimin Deng, Juanxu Liu; South China Agricultural University, Guangzhou, China. (P. guizhongensis  x  P. qintangensis ). Cross made 07.16.2021, seeds planted 07.20.2021, first flowering 09.18.2023. Reproducible only vegetatively. Basal rosette, acaulescent. Leaves green with white reticulate markings, 10-11cm long, 4.5-5 cm wide, 4-5 cm petiole, elliptic with acute tip, cuneate base, serrate margin, hairy. Calyx split, green, 7-9 mm. Length of the pedicel 3.0-4.0 cm, 7-10 flowers per axil. Corolla salverform, 4.5-4.9 cm long, 3.9-4.2 cm wide, light purple. This hybrid is suitable for growing in a warm and humid environment, the most suitable growing temperature is 24-32℃.
