Petrocosmea ‘Chinese Little Master’, 2023, IR231905, hybridized by Tian-Feng Lu, Chao-Qun Li, Yin-Zheng Wang; Institute of Botany; Chinese Academy of Sciences; China National Botanical Garden; Beijing, China. (Psinensis P. minor)Cross made 03.18.2018, seeds planted 05.28.2018, first flowering 10.25.2022. Sterile. Basal rosette, acaulescent. Leaves green, 3.2 cm long, 2.2 cm wide, 5 cm petiole, elliptic to ovate with acute tip, cuneate base, crenate margin, hairy. Calyx split, green, 6 mm. Length of the pedicel 7.2 cm, 1 flower per axil. Corolla salverform, 1.2 cm long, 1.2 cm wide, purple, two upper corolla lobes fused, purple and each lobe folded and rolled laterally, two lateral corolla lobes reflexed backwards slightly. The plants require moist and shady environment.
