Petrocosmea Silky

Petrocosmea ‘Silky’, 2023, IR231904, hybridized by Chao-Qun Li, Tian-Feng Lu, Yin-Zheng Wang; Institute of Botany, Chinese Academy of Sciences; China National Botanical Garden, Beijing, China. (P. sericea x P. sinensis). Sterile. Basal rosette, acaulescent. Leaves blackish green with dense fluff, 3.3 cm long, 3.6 cm wide, 3.7 cm petiole, ovate with acute tip, cuneate base, entire margin. Calyx split, green, 5 mm. Length of pedicel 7 cm, 1 flower per axil. Corolla salverform, 1.8 cm long, 1.8 cm wide, purple, two white spots on the lower side of the corolla-tube below the filaments, yellow throat, two upper flower petals reflexed backward. The plants require moist and shady environment.
