Primulina CW’s Gilding Dream

Primulina ‘CW’s Gilding Dream’, 2023, IR231860, hybridized by Wei-Chuen Chou, Fang Wen; Guangxi Institute of Botany & Gesneriads Conservation Center of China; Guilin, China. (P. carinata ‘GCCC’s Whitish Pouch’ x P. heterochroa). Cross made 06.22.2019, seeds planted 12.23.2019, first flowering 07.01.2021. Sterile, reproducible only vegetatively. Basal rosette, acaulescent. Leaves green, ca. 3.5 cm long, ca. 2.2 cm wide, 2-5 cm petiole, with obvious veins, thick, fleshy, pubescent both surfaces, ovate to orbicular with acute tip, cuneate base, entire margin, hairy. Calyx split, light green, ca. 7 mm. Length of the pedicel ca. 3.5 cm, 12 or more flowers per axil. Corolla salverform, ca. 3.5 cm long, ca. 2 cm wide, bright yellow with purple shading. Prefers brightly scattered natural light; moist but well-drained & calcium-rich substrate (equal to PH ≥7.0); do not overfertilize and overwater.
