Primulina CW’s Lavender Dream

Primulina ‘CW’s Lavender Dream’, 2023, IR231857, hybridized by Wei-Chuen Chou, Zi-Bing Xin, Fang Wen; Guangxi Institute of Botany & Gesneriads Conservation Center of China; Guilin, China. (P. sinovietnamica x P. spiradiclioides). Cross made 04.27.2019, seeds planted 07.23.2019, first flowering 07.17.2021. Sterile, reproducible only vegetatively. Basal rosette, acaulescent. Leaves green, ca. 4.5 cm long, ca. 2 cm wide, 2-2.5 cm petiole, with blurry yellowish veins, thick, fleshy, glabrous, elliptic to oblong with acute tip, cuneate base, entire margin, smooth. Calyx split, green, ca. 8 mm. Length of the pedicel ca. 3.5 cm, 8 or more flowers per axil. Corolla salverform, ca. 5 cm long, 1.8-2.3 cm wide, pale purple to lavender. Prefers brightly scattered natural light; moist but well-drained & calcium-rich substrate (equal to PH ≥7.0); do not overfertilize and overwater.
