Primulina CW’s Dragon Dream

Primulina ‘CW’s Dragon Dream’, 2023, IR231854, hybridized by Long-Fei Fu, Wei-Chuen Chou, Fang Wen; Guangxi Institute of Botany & Gesneriads Conservation Center of China; Guilin, China. (P. yangshuoensis x P. longzhouensis). Cross made 08.11.2019, seeds planted 12.23.2019, first flowering 09.09.2021. Sterile, reproducible only vegetatively. Basal rosette, acaulescent. Leaves green, ca. 2 cm long, ca. 1.5 cm wide, 1.5-3 cm petiole, with obvious veins, thick, fleshy, pubescent both surfaces, ovate to orbicular with acute tip, cordate to cuneate base, entire margin, hairy. Calyx split, brownish green to light green, ca. 8 mm. Length of the pedicel ca. 2 cm, 4 or more flowers per axil. Corolla salverform, ca. 1.5 cm long, ca. 1.3 cm wide, whitish purple to light purple, throat with light yellow honey guides. Prefers brightly scattered natural light; moist but well-drained & calcium-rich substrate (equal to PH ≥7.0); do not overfertilize and overwater.
