Achimenes SRG’s Yellow English Rose

Achimenes ‘SRG’s Yellow English Rose’ 2022, IR221804, hybridized by Serge Saliba, Bucharest, Romania. (A. unnamed seedling 2009 x A. HS-034-2008). Cross made 05.2010, seeds planted 01.2011, first flowering 07.2011. Sterile, reproducible only vegetatively. Erect to trailing habit, stem length 20 cm. Leaves dark green, 4 cm long, 4 cm wide, 2 cm petiole, ovate, acute tip, cuneate base, serrate margin. Calyx split, green, length 4 mm, length of the pedicel 2 cm, 2 flowers per axil. Corolla salverform, double, 3 cm long, 7 cm wide, yellow with fringed petals. Heavily blooming cultivar suitable for filtered light locations.
