Achimenes Scandinavia

Achimenes ‘Scandinavia’, 2022, IR221756, hybridized by Serge Saliba, Bucharest, Romania. (A. hybrid x A. hybrid). Cross made 05.2010, seeds planted 01.2011, first flowering 06.2011. Sterile, reproducible only vegetatively. Erect to trailing habit, stem length 20 cm. Leaves light green, 4 cm long, 4 cm wide, 2 cm petiole, ovate, acute tip, cordate base, serrate margin. Calyx split, green, length 4 mm, length of the pedicel 2 cm, 3 flowers per axil. Corolla salverform, 3 cm long, 5 cm wide, semi-double bluish- purple and white. Very floriferous.
