Achimenes Lemon Orchard

Achimenes ‘Lemon Orchard’ 2022, IR221753, hybridized by Serge Saliba, Bucharest, Romania. (A. hybrid x A. hybrid). Cross made 05.2008, seeds planted 01.2009, first flowering 06.2009. Sterile, reproducible only vegetatively. Trailing habit, stem length 20 cm. Leaves dark green, 5 cm long, 4 cm wide, 2 cm petiole, ovate to lanceolate, acute tip, cuneate base, serrate margin. Calyx split, green, length 4 mm, length of the pedicel 2 cm, 3 flowers per axil. Corolla salverform, 3 cm long, 4.5 cm wide, double yellow with strong red splashes on 1-2 petals with a hint of salmon. Free bloomer.
