Kohleria Oz’s Defne

Kohleria ‘Oz’s Defne’, 2021, IR211609, hybridized by Ozgul Yildirim, Turkey. (K. ‘Ni’s Pippi Langstrump’ x K. ‘Ni’s Mitzie’). Cross made 04.2019, seeds planted 06.2019, first flowering 05.03.2020. Reproducible only vegetatively. Upright habit, stem length 80 cm. Leaves dark green, 14 cm long, 9 cm wide, 4 cm petiole, elliptic, with cuneate base, acuminate tip, serrate margin, hairy. Calyx split, green/brown, 1cm. Length of the pedicel 5 cm. 7-11 flowers per axil. Corolla salverform, 2.6 cm long, 4.5 cm wide, upper petals have dark purple dots on pink purple background, lower petals have dark purple dots and stripes on the light yellow background. Outside of the tube is orange.
