Primulina SCBG Blue Cloud

Primulina ‘SCBG Blue Cloud’, 2021, IR211582, hybridized by Li Dong-mei, Ning Zu-lin, Chen Ling, South China Botanical Garden, Guangzhou, China. (P. pungentisepala x P. mabaensis). Cross made 05.25.2013, seeds planted 08.20.2013, first flowering 03.01.2015. Reproducible only vegetatively. Basal rosette, acaulescent. Leaves deep green, 6-10 cm long, 3.2-4.2 cm wide, 1-3 cm petiole, elliptic with cuneate base, acute tip, crenate margin, hairy. Calyx split, green, ca.1 cm. Length of the pedicel 8-10 mm, 10-20 flowers per axil. Corolla salverform, 3.8-4.0 cm long, 2.5×2.8 cm wide, very light purple, lobes light blue with one purple stripe, throat has two yellow guidelines. It prefers a good natural light and moist substrate.
