Streptocarpus 3S-Camberleigh

Streptocarpus ‘3S-Camberleigh’, 2016, IR161353, hybridized by Karen Matthews, VA (S. ’Jules’ x S. ‘DS-Meteor Shower’). Cross made 09.09.2014, planted 12.01.2014, and first flowered 06.01.2015.  Fertile, reproducible only vegetatively. Basal rosette. Leaves green, 6-8 in. long, 3 in. wide, with 0.5-0.75 in. petiole, elliptic with cuneate base, serrate margin and acute tip. Calyx split, green, 1/8 in. long. Pedicel ½-¾ in. long with 5-7 flowers per axil. Corolla salverform, 2 in. long, 1.5 in. wide. Pale pink with cream-colored bib on lower three petals, bib appears quilted.  Dark wine-red lines coming from throat and spill onto bib. Smaller grower with broad leaves forming a nice rosette. Long lasting blooms become very frilly as they get older.
