Sinningia Double Raspberry Pearl

Sinningia ‘Double Raspberry Pearl’, 2016, IR161345, hybridized by Hector Wong, HI. (S. PP117 (‘Raspberry Pearl’ x self) x S.’Bristol’s Love Potion’). Cross made 03.03.2015, planted 04.22.2015, and first flowered 08.22.2015. Reproducible only vegetatively. Compact Sinningia speciosa type , basal rosette, stem length 0.5 in. Leaves very dark green with red reverse, 4in. long, 2.5 in. wide, with 0.5 in. petiole, orbicular with cordate base, crenate margin and rounded tip, hairy. Calyx split, green, 0.25 in. Pedicel 2.5 in. with 1 flower per axil. Corolla peloric, upright with radial symmetry 2 in. long x 3 in. wide, clear white covered with small raspberry dots and a clear marked raspberry border. Double to triple flower.
