Streptocarpus UA-Midwinter

Streptocarpus ‘UA-Midwinter’, 2011, IR111152, Julia Sklvarova, Ukraine. (S. ‘Bianka’ x un-named seedling). Cross made Dec. 14, 2009, planted Feb. 27, 2010 and first flowered Dec. 17, 2010. Fertile but reproducible only vegetatively.  Rosette. Leaves light green, 25 cm long x 10 cm wide, elliptic to oblong with undulate margin and acute tip. Calyx green, fused. Pedicel 12-15 cm with 1-2 flowers per peduncle. Corolla salverform, 5 cm long x 8-10 cm wide, white with yellow throat and lilac spreading onto all lobes.
